Get an intricate insight into some of the remarkable savoir-faire behind the custom haute couture dress by Maria Grazia Chiuri that was worn by Dior global ambassador Yara Shahidi to the 2021 Met Gala held in New York. Topped with a golden tulle cloak, the brown silk sheath was embroidered by Maison Vermont with sequins and crystals using needle and tambour techniques. The strapless gown's architectural construction and glittering embellishment give the impression of being composed of a single piece of fabric. And get a detailed view of the actress's Dior Beauty look, specially chosen to accentuate the subtly-implied homage to Josephine Baker, the inspirational American-French entertainer, Resistance agent, and civil rights activist.

Making statements on the red carpet at last night's 2021 Met Gala in New York, stars in Dior included actress Rachel Zegler who channeled the tarot symbol of the Empress in a burnished devoré velvet Spring-Summer 2021 Haute Couture gown, while Dior global ambassador Yara Shahidi glittered in a custom Haute Couture dress embroidered by Maison Vermont and paired with a vaporous cloak. All by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Additionally, see some of the savoir-faire of the red-carpet outfits of Cara Delevingne and Yara Shahidi, both of whom were made up by Dior Beauty.

Now I do CrossFit workouts pretty regularly and I’m decently fit but recently I thought it would be interesting to see what it would be like to instead train and live like a Shaolin warrior monk.
Now fortunately there is actually a real-life 34th generation Shaolin monk who runs his own temple only a few blocks away from my apartment in NYC. According to his Wikipedia page he can break rocks with his skull, deflect blades with his skin, and sleep while hanging upside down from a tree branch. I’ve met him before and I can tell you he’s the real deal. So I decided to spend a week with him learning the ways of the Shaolin warrior monks.

I finished this song last year and sent it to two post-production engineers, which was my first time working with people in the industry. I always enjoyed a lot of learning on instruments and recording all the tracks in my bedroom. Lastly, this is the first song I wrote when I moved to the US, Chicago, so I hope you and I can really enjoy this summer.
New York City had many romantic memories for me. I wrote this song after a 4 month break up with my ex-girlfriend. We met at the MOMA ps1 event in the summer, first kissed under the bridge and enjoyed some amazing days in New York City. Can I say, it's just like movies! It's so hard to get over it because this is the first girl in my life. I tried to live happier but when the night came it was still pretty hard, so I wrote songs to express that feeling at night.
